People often ask why Forklift Exchange is so successful with large-capacity forklifts.
The answer isn’t marketing.
It’s experience.
For decades, we owned and operated what was, at the time, the world’s largest manufacturer of large-capacity cushion tire forklifts. We didn’t just sell the product—we designed it, engineered it, and built it.
Every truck started with raw steel.
We purchased the steel, laser cut it, formed it, machined it, welded it, painted it, assembled it, tested it, and supported it after the sale. At our peak, we built approximately 44 large-capacity forklifts every month.
That kind of experience changes how you look at equipment.
After more than 45 years in this business, we understand what works, what fails, and what it takes to keep a customer operating.
Just as important, we learned that great products require great partnerships.
At Hoist, we didn’t look at suppliers as vendors. We looked at them as long-term partners. Companies like Haas for CNC machining, Miller for welding equipment, and Hypertherm for plasma cutting weren’t selected because they were the cheapest. They were selected because when we had a problem, they answered the phone, stood behind their products, and helped us get back into production.
That philosophy hasn’t changed.
At Forklift Exchange, we believe supporting what you sell is just as important as selling it.
That’s why we’ve invested heavily in technicians, parts inventory, engineering knowledge, field service, and the infrastructure required to support large-capacity forklifts throughout North America.
Real support isn’t created overnight.
It takes experienced people, long-term relationships, and a significant capital investment.
That’s the difference between selling equipment and standing behind it.
And that’s why customers continue to trust Forklift Exchange with some of the most demanding large-capacity forklift applications in the industry.
