The Hoist FR 40/60 is a high-capacity extendable counterweight forklift designed for machinery moving, industrial rigging, equipment installation, plant relocation, and other demanding lifting applications.

With its chassis retracted, the FR 40/60 provides a rated capacity of 40,000 pounds at a 36-inch load center. Extending the counterweight frame increases its capacity to 60,000 pounds at a 36-inch load center.

The extendable chassis provides greater stability for heavier lifts while maintaining a compact footprint when retracted. This makes the forklift well suited for factories, warehouses, data centers, power facilities, and other locations where operating space may be limited.

A hydraulic telescopic boom allows the FR 40/60 to perform overhead picks and place machinery with precision. Hoist’s Quick-Change Fork System helps crews switch between the forks and boom without tools, reducing setup time between lifting tasks.

The Hoist FR 40/60 extendable counterweight forklift features a GM 3.0L LPG engine and a two-speed hydrostatic drive. An onboard load calculator helps operators determine available capacity based on the attachment, counterweight configuration, chassis extension, and load center.

Available options include remote control, side-shifting independent fork positioning, camera systems, specialized boom attachments, lifting rings, and additional work lights.
