The Gen 2 FR 40/60 features fully proportional electronic over hydraulic controls designed to provide smooth and precise load handling. Hydraulic functions can be individually adjusted for response and proportionality, allowing the machine to be tuned to the operator and application.

Adjustable Creep Mode provides additional control during slow, precise positioning while maintaining hydraulic responsiveness, making it especially useful when setting machinery in tight spaces.

The Gen 2 FR 40/60 features an enhanced onboard load scale and capacity calculator designed to give the operator more information while planning and performing heavy picks. The system recognizes the number of counterweights installed and the position of the extendable counterweight to provide real time capacity information.

The system also provides floor pressure and axle weight calculations, giving crews additional information when evaluating machine loading and floor conditions.

An integrated overload warning system provides visual and audible warnings if the machine exceeds its rated capacity.

A rotary dial for engine RPM control allows the operator to adjust engine speed from the operator compartment for greater control during hydraulic operation and precise load positioning.

The Gen 2 FR 40/60 is powered by a 2.4L PSI dual fuel engine designed for smoother and quieter operation than the previous 3.0L engine.

New two speed drive hubs provide improved speed control, smoother driving and better acceleration with automatic shifting. Grade holding provides additional machine control when stopping and operating on inclines.
