The Hoist P550 is a high-capacity pneumatic-tire forklift designed for steel mills, ports, pipe yards, precast concrete operations, lumber facilities, and other demanding industrial applications.

The P550 provides a rated lifting capacity of 55,000 pounds at a 48-inch load center. This extended load-center rating makes it well suited for handling large, wide, or irregular materials whose weight sits farther from the fork face.

A wide-view mast and low-profile carriage help improve visibility when lifting and positioning oversized loads. Available fork, carriage, mast, and attachment configurations allow the machine to handle steel, pipe, concrete products, lumber, and heavy industrial equipment.

The Hoist P550 pneumatic forklift is powered by a Cummins diesel engine paired with a Dana automatic powershift transmission. Its load-sensing hydraulic system provides responsive lifting performance while adjusting hydraulic flow according to operating demand.

A welded steel chassis, planetary drive axle, industrial steer axle, and force-cooled wet-disc brakes provide the strength required for intensive work cycles. Pneumatic tires support operation across outdoor yards and uneven industrial surfaces.

Available options include side-shifting independent fork positioning, custom forks, multiple mast configurations, extended carriages, enclosed cabs, climate control, and specialized attachments.
