When people ask me what I do for a living, the simple answer is that I sell forklifts. The reality is, there’s a lot more to it than that.

One of the things I enjoy most about this business is that no two days are ever the same. Every customer has a different operation, different challenges, and different goals. That’s what has kept me interested after all these years.

One morning I might be evaluating a 5,000-pound warehouse forklift. Later that same day, I could be inspecting a high-capacity forklift used in a steel mill, lumber yard, machinery moving operation, or heavy manufacturing facility.

The equipment may be completely different, but the objective is always the same: help the customer make the right decision.

Sometimes that means recommending a brand-new forklift. Sometimes a late-model used machine is the better investment. Other times, rebuilding an existing forklift makes the most financial sense.

Those are the conversations I enjoy the most because they’re based on understanding the customer’s operation—not simply quoting a price.

After spending years in the forklift industry, one thing has become very clear to me: every forklift has a story. How it was maintained. Where it worked. What it lifted. How it was treated. Learning that story is often just as important as reading the specifications on a brochure.

That’s what continues to make this industry rewarding. Every day brings a different challenge, another opportunity to visit a customer, inspect equipment, and help companies make decisions they’ll benefit from for years to come.

That’s why I still enjoy coming to work.

We help customers determine whether new, used, refurbished, or rebuilt equipment makes the most sense for their application. Our goal isn’t simply to sell forklifts—it’s to help our customers make informed equipment decisions that maximize productivity and long-term value.
