Recently, we completed a full refurbishment of a Hoist P550 for our valued customer, RIGUPATL. This project showcases our expertise in heavy equipment restoration and our commitment to efficiency and quality.
Inspection & Assessment
The process began with a comprehensive inspection of the unit to identify any mechanical or cosmetic issues. Our team meticulously examined all components to ensure that the machine would meet optimal performance and safety standards.
Mechanical & Cosmetic Repairs
Once the inspection was complete, we performed a 2,000-hour preventative maintenance (PM) service, addressing all mechanical concerns identified. This included:
- Replacing worn-out components
- Fixing hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ensuring all safety mechanisms were fully operational
Cosmetic repairs were also a priority. We repaired any visible wear and tear, ensuring that the unit not only functioned flawlessly but also looked as good as new.
Repainting & Testing
After the mechanical and cosmetic work was finalized, we repainted the entire unit, giving it a fresh, professional look. Following the repainting process, we subjected the forklift to a rigorous testing phase to confirm its performance under various conditions.

We at Forklift Exchange would like to thank you for your valued business over the years and sincerely appreciate your trust and confidence in our services.
After much deliberation, we have deemed it necessary to adjust our labor and travel rates in order to keep pace with a roughly 14% increase in costs y/y. This includes fuel, insurance, supplies, and day-to-day operational costs.
Effective January 13th, 2025, the new labor and travel rates will be $198.00 per hour. All invoices prior to effective date will still reflect the old rates.
This price adjustment is necessary to ensure we can continue delivering the high-quality service you’ve come to rely on and expect.

The enhanced calculator senses how many counterweights are loaded, how far the counterweight is extended, and whether the forks or boom are installed to provide real-time load capacities for safer picks and increased job efficiency. It also has a floor pressure calculator, a great tool for quoting jobs.
Improved Controls
The control layout has been changed to improve ergonomics and allow for better RPM adjustment with the new rotary dial.
